Irvine, California--- January 1st, 2006---SMD Inc. today announced they have signed a national distribution agreement with Epcos. SMD Inc. will stock and distribute Epcos’ full line of passive and electrical components. “We are excited to be able to provide Epcos products to our customers. They bring a number of products to our line card that fit directly into markets we are currently involved in. They are becoming a key supplier to OEM customers involved in alternative energy solutions and other automotive applications where we have already established a presence.
